Type of Position: Seasonal, Full Time (remote work)

The Campaign Assistant will assist with the planning and execution of fundraising, recognition and campaign activities. The position will also support the United Way annual fundraising campaign which raises funds to support poverty alleviation, independence, children and youth and more.
Between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment
Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident
University or College student studying Event Management, Fundraising, Business Administration, or a related discipline
Ability to work a flexible schedule including daytime, evenings and weekends
Access to a vehicle
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Attention to detail
Computer literate in all Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Office and PowerPoint
Experience with Adobe programs such as InDesign and Photoshop is considered an asset
Experience in event planning, communications, and marketing for a not-for-profit organization is an asset
1-2 years demonstrated customer service experience is an asset
Database experience is an asset
