ST. CATHARINES, ON (March 13, 2020) – Due to escalating Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) concerns, United Way Niagara’s Donor Awards Night scheduled for March 25, 2020 has been postponed.

United Way Niagara Postponing Annual Awards Night
Awards Night has been postponed due to COVID-19
ST. CATHARINES, ON (March 13, 2020) – Due to escalating COVID-19 concerns, United Way Niagara’s Annual Awards Night scheduled for March 25, 2020 has been postponed.
United Way Niagara’s top priority is the safety of our donors, volunteers, staff and the community we serve. The decision to postpone the event was determined to be the most responsible precautionary measure.
"While it was a difficult decision to postpone Awards Night, we are fully committed to protecting the health and well-being of those attending. United Way Niagara will continue to do our part to help in the containment efforts called for by Canada’s top government officials and medical experts" said Frances Hallworth, Executive Director.
United Way Niagara is closely monitoring the evolving COVID-19 situation and an update about Awards Night will be made available on our website and through our social media channels.
Planning for Awards Night will resume and a re-scheduled date will be announced as soon as it is known.
