The United Way of Niagara Falls and Greater Fort Erie always welcomes the assistance and support of its neighbours. You can help in any of the following ways:

• Join one of our many committees. Campaign, Board of Directors, Special Event Planning, Allocations, etc.
• Assist with a special event. No event can happen without the support of volunteers. Your assistance is always appreciated.
• Lend your expertise to a particular need (i.e. graphic design, investing)

"In the year 2000, as I was nearing the end of my career, I had thought about doing some volunteering. At the time a financial chairperson was needed for the United Way of Niagara Falls and as I was retiring from banking it seemed a likely place to start.

Here we are in 2011 and I'm still volunteering for the agency. The experience has given me a better understanding of the need in our community and of the good work done by the agencies and the dedicated people in them.
